Cherry Springs Woodsman Carnival 2024. August 4, 5, & 6, 2023. For over 68 years, wood carvers, ax throwers, log rollers and the like have descended on cherry springs state park to participate in the annual galeton.
Many attendees and show volunteers still call the show the carnival a term used in years past. The woodsmen show celebrates the rich lumber history of potter county.
